OTHER THINGS TO MAKE WITH OUR Reindeer Craft

Okay, I must admit that I am totally smitten with the holidays. I have always been in love with this time of year, but it has reach all new heights since Ive had kids.

You can pretty much find me celebrating the season everyday from Thanksgiving on by baking, crafting, and enjoying family time listening to holiday music.

This DIY reindeer craft is the cutest addition to my holiday egg nog and they give every drink such a fun holiday touch. They are also super simple to make, so that’s always a plus!

But what I especially love about these is that they can be so much more than drink stirrers! Here are just a few ways that you could switch them up if you leave off the swizzle stick:

  • add a hook to create an ornament
  • put them on earring hooks for a fun holiday accessory
  • glue on a pin back to make a brooch
  • add a hair pin to make a festive hair clip
  • string a bunch of reindeer on some yarn to create a garland

So basically, I’m gonna just go ahead and suggest right now that you make about a zillion of these because there are so many different ways to use them. They make awesome teacher or class gifts, hostess gifts, party favors, and more.

DIY Reindeer Craft: Drink Stirrers

Materials

Make Time: 30 Minutes

  1. Begin by cutting out the reindeer antlers from the brown felt. I just free handed it, but feel free to sketch them out first with a piece of chalk. You will need two antlers for each drink stirrer.
  2. Once you have your pieces, then hot glue the red pom pom nose onto the felt ball and then glue the antlers on.
  3. Finally, hot glue the felt ball to the drink stir stick.

So seriously easy! Now I know I made them all into Rudolphs, but you can easily swap the noses for brown ones if you feel so inclined. But we all know Rudolph is the best!

Other Ideas for Holiday Felt Crafts

This DIY reindeer craft could easy be switched up to make snowmen from white felt balls of different sizes or maybe even an elf or Santa face. All you need are a few felt additions and a glue gun and you will find your self in the same holiday craft craze as I am!
