Teacher Appreciation Week might not be the most widely celebrated holiday, but it is one that’s near and dear to my heart.

As a former teacher, I know exactly how hard educators work and how much of their time, energy, and heart goes into teaching young people every single day. So I truly love to shower my kids’ teachers with thanks and encouragement.

These printable cards are a quick and easy way to show your child’s teacher that you are thinking about them and that you appreciate the time and care they show their classes!

Appreciation Cards for Every Day of the Week

I love these little cards because there’s one for each day of Teacher Appreciation Week. They’re labeled Monday through Friday, so be sure to give the correct card on the corresponding day.

It’s a fun and encouraging way to give your child’s teacher some encouragement and thanks all week long!

Fun Ways to Say Thank You To a Teacher

I also love the idea of adding a little gift or trinket on any or all of the days of the week. Here are a few ideas:

• A small bouquet of flowers
• Supplies for staying healthy (hand sanitizer, wipes, Kleenex)
• Class supplies (pencils, glue sticks, or anything age-appropriate to their grade level)
• A Target or Amazon gift card
• A certificate for dinner at their favorite restaurant

That being said, when I was a teacher, the thing I prized most was a heartfelt note or card from a student or parent. So don’t feel like you have to spend money for it to be meaningful!

How to Put Together The Teacher Appreciation Week Cards

1. Start by downloading the file or files that you like.
2. Print the files onto white cardstock. If you just want the front of the printable, you’ll just need to print page one. If you want the stripes on the back of the printable as well, print both pages.
3. Once printed, use a glue stick to adhere the two pages together (if you printed both of them), with wrong sides facing each other.
4. Use scissors or a paper trimmer to cut out each of the five cards, trimming around the colored border of each card.
5. Help your child write a message on each card; there’s a different card for every day of the week.
6. Have your child sign each card. Deliver the cards to teacher on the corresponding days of Teacher Appreciation Week!
