Free Printable Valentines for Pool Float Lovers
And even better, these are free printable Valentines so you don’t have to run out to a store! We created four versions, for everybody from your true love to your gal pal to your kiddo’s best buddy.
I particularly enjoy “I flocking love you,” and I can personally guarantee you that my mom is currently cringing over that pun. Sorry mom!
I also have to give credit where credit is due and high five my husband for the swan pun. That one is pure genius.
All of the valentines are on one printable sheet, so you can either use all of them, or just choose your favorites. But let’s talk about those little figurines!
Where to Find Pool Float Figurines
I was cruising around in Michaels with the kids (as I am known to do when I’m looking to while away an hour or two in the afternoon) and we ended up in the miniatures aisle, which they love. I don’t know what it is about tiny things, but we all love them.
Anyway. They had a whole bunch of poolside, Palm Springs-y type figurines and I just knew they would make perfect valentines!
So I promptly grabbed every flamingo they had, with a couple of pool floats for good measure, not exactly knowing what the plan was yet. But it turned out even better than I imagined!
But I know that not every Michaels store has them, or they may not have them if you’re looking for them off-season. So I found a few good substitutes (linked below), which gives you an affordable option for plenty of pieces if you’re giving these out as Valentines.
I found the exact ones I used on eBay, here and here.
You can make these cuties with just our printable, the figurines, and some glue dots. And they’ll take you all of a few seconds to print and cut. Here’s how.
Make Our Free Printable VAlentines
Materials
- Palm Springs Valentine Printable (download for free below!)
- flamingo figurines (here’s another option), swan figurines, pool float figurines
- removable Glue Dots
- white cardstock
- scissors or paper cutter
Make Time: 5 Minutes
Instructions
- Download the free printable valentines at the bottom of this post, and print them on white cardstock.
- Use scissors or a paper cutter to cut out the valentines. There are no border lines on the valentines, so just cut along the invisible line where the grid stops. That should yield a nice clean square.
- For the flamingo valentines, add one small removable Glue Dot to the back of a flamingo and affix it to the valentines in front of the house. Add more flamingos as desired.
- For the pool float valentines, we recommend adding three small Glue Dots to the bottom side of a pool float figurine, spread around the ring evenly. Then affix the pool float onto the pool area of the swimming pool valentines. Be sure you use a swan on the one that says “This swan’s for you.” You can use any pool float on the other valentine.
Note: If you’d like to also print the tutorial, there’s a handy printable version down below!

That’s it! I have to admit that this is just my teeny first attempt at illustrating things on the computer, but I think the illustrations get the point across. It’s a skill that I’ve been wanting to explore so this was a fun challenge. Hope you like it. xoxo
