The tiny pumpkins are always my fave. My mom used to let my sister and me pick out a tiny pumpkin at the grocery store to take to our elementary school teachers each year. I just loved that. And now I scatter them all over my house in the fall! These tiny guys got made into message pumpkins — you can make ’em say whatever you want. This one’s quick and easy, and so fun to dream up things for your pumpkin to say.
Materials
- tiny pumpkins
- black craft paint
- paintbrush
- my favorite paint pens
Make Time: 15 Minutes (plus drying time)
Wipe down your pumpkins and make sure they’re clean and dry. Put a coat of black craft paint on each pumpkin. You might need to touch up some spots or put on a second coat for extra coverage! Allow the pumpkins to dry thoroughly.
Fire up your paint pens and write out some messages! I went simple, mostly because the more I write the worse my handwriting gets. But do your thang!
These would be so cute as place cards at a Halloween or fall dinner, or as teacher gifts too! Or go big and paint up a huge pumpkin with a message to put out on your porch. What would you have yours say? Have a good time, Halloweenies! xoxo
