Ideas for Celebrating Easter With Kids
I’m finding that holidays are even better when you get to see them through your kids’ eyes.
I often try to steer clear of tons of candy at Easter, so I wanted to create something that could house some fresh fruit or a small toy.
These printable bunny boxes just so happen to be the perfect size to house a mandarin, hard-boiled egg, or a small trinket.

How to Make the Printable Easter Bunny Box
Make Time: 5 Minutes per box

Step 1: Download our Easter Bunny Template. Print onto cardstock in the color of your choice.
Step 2: Cut along all solid lines on the Easter Bunny template. Crease the box inward along the dotted lines.
Step 3: Place a treat or trinket in the center of the box. Fold the vertical flaps inward and then the horizontal flaps over the top, forming the box. Slide the two interlocking pieces together to create the bunny shape.
Step 4: Use a small piece of double-stick tape on the back of each ear piece to affix it to either ear. Mix and match ear colors for a fun contrast.

More Ways to Use the Bunny Boxes
You could create a bunch of these instead of eggs (if they’re in short supply or too expensive) in an indoor Easter egg hunt! Just fill with treats and hide them around the house or yard.
You could also create a whole homeschool or toddler education unit around these! Have kids help cut and put together the boxes to work on craft/fine motor skills.
Teach an animal unit around rabbits or bunnies. And fill them with various numbers of small items like coins to work on numbers, counting, and math.
I love this little Easter Bunny template! I think they’d be perfect for healthy school treats.
They’re also a great DIY project for a crafternoon with the kiddos – let them help choose colors and cut out the shapes, and you can construct the boxes together.
Pop some fruit inside and it’s an adorably healthy Easter gift. Happy making!
