The Jewelry I Wear Every Day

I have this weird relationship with jewelry, where I truly love it and love wearing it, but also kind of forget about it. I just forget to accessorize whatever I’m wearing, so usually I have a really great collection of jewelry that just stays in my closet. I’m trying to remedy that and be better about letting it see the light of day, but in the meantime, I have my tried-and-true pieces that I literally wear day in and day out. I get questions about them quite a bit, so here they are, with the story behind each one!
My Wedding Set People ask to see my wedding ring all the time, because it’s a little quirky. We found it at Catbird in Brooklyn, and it’s made by Bittersweets NY. Both the engagement ring and the wedding band are cast from twigs, so they look like little tiny branches winding around my ring finger. I don’t think Bittersweets makes the engagement ring design any more, but this is the closest version. I can truly say I’ve never seen anything like it on any other hand that I’ve come across, and I love that. (That photo below is from our honeymoon, when the rings were super clean and spankin’ new.)

Diamond Baguette This beauty was on my wish list for the longest time, and now it lives on my finger every day! Ryan and a baby Henry gave it to me a few years back on Mother’s Day, and I can still remember exactly where I was sitting when they came in the room to hand it to me. Henry was so excited. It’s just a thin little gold band with a sideways diamond baguette, but it’s perfect for stacking, moving around, and daily wear. You can find it here.

Four Gemstones Ring About a year ago I was on a solo work trip to Austin, and I was missing my family fiercely. I wandered into the Eliza Page shop and found this little stacker ring with four tiny diamonds. I tried it on (a perfect fit), and somehow it made me feel like I had a little connection to my family, like I could always keep a reminder of them on my finger. I wear it every day, sometimes in place of my wedding set.

Letter Necklace I had wanted one of these forever, ever since we started a family. I decided to wait until our family was complete to get the initial necklace, so that I could get the initials of my three favorite people in the world. (Although the designer gives you the option to send your necklace back in and add letters if needed.) I just abut never take it off, so much so that I kind of forget I have it on. It’s delicate and just kind of catches the light right around the neck and collarbones, which is so pretty.

And that’s that! My every-day, leave-’em-on-overnight, always-have-’em-on pieces. Looking back at this post I’m starting to realize that I’m maybe a little overly sentimental? Ah well. I’m okay with that. 😉 Do you have any jewelry that you wear every single day? Why is it special to you? Share in the comments! xoxo
P.S. My favorite customizable jewelry for moms! Awesome holiday gifts right here, gang.

Parabéns 🙂
I’m the same way with my jewelry! I forget to accessorize with anything other than my wedding rings and maybe a pair of earrings. If you have a trick for remembering to wear your other jewelry, feel free to share! Do you have a link to your necklace? I’ve been looking for something like that for a while.
Hi Allie, thanks for catching that! We updated the post with the link. <3

Great article. As the time approached to propose to my beloved, I was determined to find the perfect engagement ring that would encapsulate the depth of my love. After much consideration and research, I decided to opt for a magnificent 1 carat engagement ring https://jacobmercari.com/1-carat-engagement-rings/ , and it turned out to be an exceptional choice. The diamond’s size strikes a balance between elegance and glamour, making it an excellent choice for engagement rings. The key benefits of a 1 carat engagement ring is its versatility. The size strikes a perfect balance, making it suitable for various hand shapes and sizes.

Love this! Silver jewelry is so timeless and versatile. It goes with everything and always adds a touch of elegance. Great styling tips—can’t wait to try them!
I really enjoyed reading about the pieces you choose to wear every day because it shows how jewelry can feel both personal and effortless. I agree that the best items are the ones that are comfortable enough to live in while still carrying meaning. That’s why I’ve been drawn to Casual Carats, since their designs balance simplicity with a unique touch, making them easy to wear daily without ever feeling boring. Just like your approach, I think having a few versatile favorites is better than constantly switching things up—it makes style feel more intentional and authentic.
Wow this is very nice jewelry and photography is very good
