I kind of love the rainbow fruit salad because it looks way more impressive and fancy than it actually is. And that’s because of the secret! The rainbow is just the top layer, and the rest of the salad is mixed underneath. It makes it way easier to keep the rainbow nice and tidy if you just layer in on the top after you mix the rest of your salad.

Step 1: Choose a selection of fruit that includes lots of different colors, preferably every color of the rainbow!

Step 2: Dice all of your fruit. From each fruit, keep aside a small portion to use when you’re topping the salad. Toss the rest of the fruit in the bowl and mix well.

Step 3: Create the rainbow rows on the top of your salad, starting with the colors in the center and working your way out to make sure that you have room for all of the colors.

Serve immediately or chill before serving! Hope this one brings some color to your summer! xoxo

  1. So smart! I love a pretty dish – but I never would have thought to just make a rainbow on top of an already mixed up salad. You’re a genius!
