One of my best girlfriends just got married. For her shower, we were all sent empty mason jars and given the task of filling them up with little gifts for the bride. I decided to take mine one step further and decorate it, too.
I happened to have white and gold spray paint, so I went to town. I painted the outside of the entire jar white first. After it was thoroughly dry, I masked off the upper half of the jar and painted the lower half gold. (I put some gold on the lid too — just for good measure.)
That’s it! It’s so simple, and I think it makes a vintage-looking mason jar a little bit cooler and more modern, which is a little more my friend’s vibe. And in case you’re wondering, I filled it with nail polish! xoxo
