We celebrated Maggie’s first birthday last weekend with a simple and sweet 1st birthday party! For both of our littles, we decided that a big bash on the first birthday wasn’t our vibe, so we just had immediate family, dinner, and a cake that baby can get messy with. I thought I’d share a few snaps of Maggie’s celebration.
We did a little balloon garland with tassels because she loves both of those things (one of her first words was balloon!). I pinned up some printed Instagram photos of her, and set out our pink letter board with a fun little message. Most of our other party supplies came from Shop Sweet Lulu — they just have the cutest selection of stuff, from balloons to candles to plates and more. I’ll have tutorials coming soon for the cake and topper, the balloon garland, and the homemade marshmallows (which were deeeeelicious). Happy birthday, little one! xoxo
P.S. Try a DIY ball pit at your next 1st birthday! It’s a total slam-dunk.
So cute! The decorations you chose are adorable; can’t wait to see the tutorials!
Thanks Abby! I’m so excited to share soon. Stay tuned!
Out of this world adorable. Love the colors and the “You’re Number One!”
Thank you lady!
This has to be the cutest birthday party! I love the color palette!
Thanks Shawna! The package of cake sprinkles inspired the colors. 🙂
So sweet 🙂
Happy Birthday Maggie!
