DIY Instagram Playing Cards
Iiiiiiiii love this one. I love it. When Mr. Lovely and I were in Ojai a couple of months back, we had a major hankering to play a few hands of rummy and we didn’t have any cards! So some DIY Instagram playing cards was obviously the answer. Amiright? This tiny deck of cards has come in handy a few times already, so get set to make your own! You’ll need to reference this post about how to print Instagrams, and this here tutorial picks it up from there.
Materials
- free playing card printable download
- computer and printer
- white cardstock
- scissors
- double-stick tape
Make Time: 2 Hours
Start by getting all of your Instagram photos printed, using our Instagram printing tutorial. Then download and print the playing card file.
Once printed, cut out each playing card, using the lines as guides for cutting. Put a few strips of double-stick tape on the back of a card.
Being sure that both the card and the photo are right side up, affix a photo to the center of the back of the card.
Trim the edges to be sure they’re even. Repeat with each card until you have the full set!
These are so fun! We did realize one thing after we made them — if you pay close attention, you might be able to memorize which photo is on the back of which card. So if you play with card counters, beware! But we’ve used the deck a few times and still don’t remember what’s what, so it’s all in good fun. Hope you enjoy! xoxo

Only issue would be after playing a few times, you may be able to memorize which cards are which. But that’d be really difficult. Adorable idea.
