Desktop Designers // Lana Frankel

I am wiggling my toes because I’m so excited to bring you today’s installment of Desktop Designers! I met Lana Frankel at Alt in January because we were standing in line next to each other — and it turned out to be such a wonderful chance meeting! I was immediately taken by her (and her awesome illustrations), and we said right away that we’d love to collaborate on something. So hopefully this is the beginning of lots more awesomeness to come from Lana.

This girl is a little ball of talent — her illustrations, portraits, paintings, and stationery are all custom. I just love the vibrant and happy vibe that her pieces have, and I couldn’t wait to see what she’d put together for Lovely Indeed. And when she sent me a sketch of this cool girl riding her cruiser, I literally squeaked. Like, out loud. All of the little details are perfect, from the flowers and bread, to the lomography camera, to the potted plant that looks just like this DIY, to the little LI on her shoes.
