One of my favorite things is being able to share the causes that are near to my heart with you here on the blog. So when OXO and Cookies for Kids’ Cancer asked if I might like to share a recipe here on Lovely Indeed, I jumped at the chance to help. If you’re not familiar with Cookies for Kids’ Cancer, they are a company raising funds for research to develop new, improved, and less toxic treatments for pediatric cancer. The team sent over a cookie recipe for us to try, and for every time their message is shared (in places like this blog post or in their hashtag on social media), the OXO team will donate money to Cookies for Kids’ Cancer.
How amazing is that?
And where does the OXO team come in? Well, their containers just so happen to be perfect for storing all of the ingredients you might need to bake a killer batch of cookies. We tried their 8-piece POP Container Baking Set, and I’m a total convert. I’m planning on getting some more of the POP containers to house the rest of our baking ingredients and organize our pantry. They keep things fresh and organized, they’re airtight, dishwasher safe, and stackable to boot. I also love the accessories (like scoops) that attach to the underside of the lids to keep it all tidy.
So! If you want to encourage the OXO team to give more to this awesome cause, use #oxobetter or #oxogoodcookies on social media and help rack up the donation dollars (each hashtag means a $5 donation). Isn’t that cool?
And if you want to get in on these amazing Salted Candy Blondie Bars, you can get the recipe right here.
Big thank you to both of these amazing companies for the good work that they’re spreading. We need more of that in the world! Happy baking! xoxo
My kids absolutely LOVED these! Fantastic recipe. And when I say kids, I may have finished a few myself.
This came out really well and my family loved it! I will definitely be making these again very soon. Thanks a lot for sharing this recipe. 🙂
So glad, Paul! Thanks for sharing.
