I wasn’t originally going to do a whole post on The Museum of Ice Cream, but when your baby provides you with a photo of the most delicious sprinkle thighs you’ve ever seen, you just go with it. We had the BEST time at the museum (which is actually more like an interactive art exhibit) this month. I have to admit I was a little skeptical after seeing so many of the same photos over and over on Instagram. But especially with a 2 year old, this place was a complete ball. Trust me when I tell you that Henry was living his best life.
You can swing on the swings, smell the scratch and sniff wallpaper, play ping pong, run through the bananas, eat more ice cream samples than you know what to do with, and most importantly — swim in the sprinkle pool. Henry all but dove in. We set Maggie in gently for a few moments before I realized maaayyyybe it wasn’t the best idea for an 8 month old who likes to put everything in her mouth. So Ryan pulled her out and we discovered a whole mess of sprinkles had stuck to her buns, and I snapped the quickest photo I could before he dusted her off. Total accident. Although I have to tell you — I saw some people on Instagram trying to recreate the photo with real sprinkles, sticking them on babies with water! Haha! Insider tip about these sprinkles: they’re plastic, so the color didn’t run. And there was no water, just juicy baby thighs.
Anyway! I think it’s sold out for the foreseeable future but if they release more tickets, take your kids! It’s a spot that’s obviously fun for grownups too (an Instagrammer’s paradise) but through the eyes of a kiddo it is spectacular. It was a day we’ll always remember. I hear they’re looking at opening another location, too, so keep an eye peeled. And enjoy some more photos! xoxo

looks so cute! 🙂
I wish this was near us!!! Looks so fun! And I do LOVE ice cream!
So adorable! To swim in sprinkles and taste all the ice cream – sounds like such fun. I hope this is an idea that makes it to England.
