April’s Lovely Girl // The Adventurer

Happy Tuesday, kittens! Did we all make it through Monday? Today we’ve got something fun to perk you up. It’s the first installment of one of our new features ’round these parts! I’d like to introduce you to The Lovelies.

Who are The Lovelies? They’re you. They’re me. They’re all of us! Part of our manifesto says Be your own kind of lovely. That’s my favorite. Loveliness isn’t a one-size-fits-all kinda thing. Maybe your version of lovely is filling your house with fresh flowers. Or maybe it’s dancing on tables until dawn. Or maybe it’s volunteering your time to a worthy organization. Whatever it is, we’re here to celebrate it. And that’s where The Lovelies come in.

Each month, we’ll feature a new Lovely Girl, meant to inspire you to explore the zillions of ways you can lovely up your life. These gals are based on real-life lovelies that we know and adore, and they’ll be illustrated by none other than the super-talented Lindsey! So without further ado, let’s get to know April’s Lovely: The Adventurer.

The Adventurer has a love affair with the world. Is there a photo to take? She’s snapping it. A destination to explore? She’s lacing up her (really cute) shoes. Something new to try? She’s first in line. This girl knows that you can find adventure on the other side of a transcontinental flight, or right outside in your own backyard. The Adventurer’s got an appetite for life, and she thinks that every new day is another chance to discover something fun. Because near or far, big or small, adventure is out there! xoxo
