Time for a quickie! I was wandering through Michaels the other day looking for some party supplies in my favorite colors and I just wasn’t finding what I was looking for. But I did find these cute wooden spoons in the dollar bins, along with some good ol’ fashioned craft paint. I think you see where I’m going with this, yes? These took me 5 minutes to paint, about 20 minutes to dry, and they’re ready for a summer party!

Materials

  • wooden utensils
  • craft paint
  • paintbrush
  • washi tape

Make Time: 5 Minutes (Plus Drying Time)

Step 1: Place a piece of washi tape at the base of the handle of each utensil.

Step 2: Paint your desired color of craft paint on the handle. Let dry; repeat if you’d like more coverage.

Step 3: Remove washi tape and party!

I have to tell you, I’m becoming a bigger fan of quickie DIYs every day! I love making, but mama’s got a time budget, if you know what I mean. Hope you try this super fast project for your next celebration! xoxo
