Thanks for coming back for the final installment of Who’s Doing It Right! It has been such a joy to celebrate these makers who are doing their work with integrity, passion, and creativity. This last bunch includes more of my favorites (see posts One and Two as well!).
Natalie from Creme de la Craft was such a pleasure to meet. Her business cards were a perfect representation of her blog (they were tiny notebooks made from upcycled cereal boxes).
Danyelle of Dandee had some of my favorite cards at the conference, mostly because of the use of her tagline: A Happily Crafted Life. Even though we only met briefly, it was clear that she truly embodies that ideal.
On the first night of Alt, I attended a sponsor dinner hosted by Red Stamp. I can honestly say that it was one of the best sponsored events I’ve experienced; the Red Stamp team was genuinely happy to be interacting with bloggers, and had taken time and care to know the attendees beforehand. They gave out sweet little swag bags, and made sure to give Mr. Lovely one that was filled with guy-friendly stuff. They were so welcoming, and it was a joy to see them around the conference.
Melanie of You Are My Fave was handing out business cards with teeny tiny balloon animals letterpressed on the back. Out of control! I’ve met Mel before, but I was happy to spend a little more time with her — she’s got strong, astute opinions without being overwhelming, and I love that.
You can always spot one of Danni’s packaging jobs right away. Her business cards are like the Oh, Hello Friend blog and shop — little works of art.
Randi from Swoon Studio had the sweetest, most simple little cards and they ended up being one of my favorites. I loved the little wooden flag, and thought that it was the perfect extension of her brand.
One of my favorite mini parties was the Secret Garden party by Brittany, Alix, Melissa, and Erin. Walking into that party you just knew that some beautiful minds had come together to pull it off. They had this gorgeous handkerchief featuring Brittany’s florals and Melissa’s lettering, which is now one of my prized possessions.
Thank you again for following along this week while I’ve shared these wonderful women with you. I’m so grateful for each of them; they truly made my conference experience worthwhile. These are the people that are making the creative world turn! xoxo
