travel // birmingham, al

This is my third time touring through Birmingham, so there aren’t too many surprises this time around.  But the upside of hitting a town a second or third time is that you can cover what you originally missed.  So after we got settled in our hotel, we marched right back out to explore.  We hopped on the trolley for 25 cents and rolled down to Five Points — a little area with a few restaurants and some historic buildings.  It was a perfect day that felt unmistakably like spring, so we sat down to eat outside.  Between mojitos and Mexican food, here’s what we saw.  xoxo

  1. Ah, I love Birmingham! I grew up about 20 mins north of there and I’m in school now about 40 mins southwest in Tuscaloosa.
Yesterday was so gorgeous.. a great time to be in town 🙂
