week of gratitude

Well, lovelies, Thanksgiving is one week from today.  I’m so looking forward to cooking up something delicious and spending time with my NYC “family” (although I’m sad to be missing my own family’s celebration in California).  There have been so many wonderful and surprising things going on in my life and in the lives of those around me lately, that I think I need a whole week to celebrate my gratitude.  So I’m starting today.

Today, I’m thankful for YOU.  If you’re here, on my blog, reading this little post, you are enhancing my life, and I’m so grateful.  I started Lovely Indeed at a time when I was in desperate need of a creative outlet, and in even more desperate need of a way to plan my wedding and involve all of the people I love, even from thousands of miles away.  It has become all of that and more — thanks to your kind comments, amazing support, and the way that you have chosen to accept my little corner of the blog world.  I am so grateful for the opportunity that Lovely Indeed gives us all to communicate and share.

And on that note, I’d love for you to do some sharing of your own.  What are YOU thankful for?  We’ll be celebrating gratitude all week and right up to Thanksgiving, so come back every day and celebrate your thankfulness, if you like!  I think that we could all use it.  xoxo

  3. I am thankful for my FAMILY every day of my life! And for the way God has just sort of given me little shoves this way and that, and quietly guided me through my life as a mother/homemaker, and as a teacher.
