Printable Valentine’s Day Cards
This idea and printable landed on Lovely Indeed courtesy of my friend Lexy, who runs the blog Proper.
When I had Henry, many of my blog friends helped out to give me some maternity leave by sharing guest posts here on Lovely Indeed. This was originally one of those!
The design is hand-drawn, and I love how it looks like doodles in a school binder or on a love note. So fun.
Variations to Try
Once you get the download and print the file at home, there are a few ways you could use this.
Print it on cardstock and on the reverse, add lines for an address (like you see in these photos) to turn it into a postcard. These would be so fun to send to grandparents or pen pals!
If you’re printing postcards, you can create multiple cards on one page by changing the layout in your printer settings to print four to a page.
You could also cut it into smaller sections, punch a hole for some ribbon, and use the printable cards as a Valentine’s Day gift tag.
You can even print it out and fold it in half width-wise to create a mini Valentine’s Day folded card.
Valentine’s Day Wallpaper for Desktop or Smartphone
And if you don’t need cards but like seasonal skins on your tech, you can use it as wallpaper!
Simply save the image to your computer, tablet, or smartphone, and select it as your wallpaper or screensaver.
Tips for Printing
I like to put any printables I make at home onto a nice quality white cardstock like this one.
The extra weight of the paper makes the printed Valentine’s Day card (or anything else you’re printing) a little nicer and gives it an elevated finish.
If your printer has adjustable settings, I also like to make sure I’m not printing in Draft mode to ensure a quality print. Draft mode is great for saving ink but for projects like this one it can result in a pixelated print.
You can also use these printing tips if you want to print any of our Valentines for kids! Here are a few of my favorites:

Get the Download
Okay you’re ready!
Click the downloadable wallpaper link and you’ll be taken to the file. Just save it to your computer.
You’ll find that this is best done on a laptop or desktop as opposed to a smartphone or tablet, especially if you’re printing.
Then, print away or make it your wallpaper. Or both!
Once it’s printed, trim away the excess and you’re ready to give out your printable Valentine’s Day cards. Have fun!
