Ukulele 101 // Part 3

Ukulele Lesson

You made it! (Did you make it?) It’s the final episode in our series of mini ukulele lessons and we’re learning a whole song. Yaaaaay! And just so you know, the chords that we’re learning can be combined in a bunch of different ways to play a whole mess of songs, so your friends will think you’re a ukulele prodigy. Check out the video to hear a few of the other tunes you can learn, and strum along as we teach you a little ditty you can be singing by tonight. (Psst… Go back and review with Part 1 and Part 2!)

We’re singing a shortened version of the song, so see the links below for the lyrics to all the verses and learn the whole shebang! And as always, there are more links to help as you’re learning. I hope you’ve loved trying a little uke; it’s been so fun to put the series together. Leave a comment and let me know if you’ve been following along! And don’t forget to use #thelovelysquad on social if you’re learning so I can see your progress. Can’t wait to hear it! xoxo

  1. You guys are adorable! And, even though my husband thinks I am nutty for it, I totally want to learn the ukulele now. 🙂 Thanks for the inspiration!

    1. Hey girl! I love that you’re following along! I’m thinking I’ll do a little live review lesson for those strums on Periscope this morning! I’ll leave it up so you can rewatch it if you can’t watch live. 🙂

  2. Definitely my fave of them all–and yet, I’m SO sad that you said it was the last. I would love to learn more! Even though I already knew these chords, I loved seeing your personality shine through each video and loved just how fun you made it, too. 🙂

And I would love to know some of the chord changes/order for the other songs you sang, too.

    Thanks–as always–for sharing with us!

    1. Thanks for the suggestions Kiki! I think we’ll probably put together some more of these in the future, so I’ll work on some of those other songs!

  4. Have you ever considered about adding a little bit more than just
your articles? I mean, what you say is valuable and everything.

Hoeever just imagine if you added sokme great photos or videos to give your posts
more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with pics and clips,
this website could undeniably be onee of the
greatest in its niche. Very good blog!
