Okay, guys — it’s happening! We had such a fun response to this little ukulele video that we decided to share our love of the uke with you here in the form of ukulele lessons!!! I know, I’m kvelling with excitement over here too. Have you always wanted to play an instrument? Or maybe you have a burning passion for the ukulele but don’t even know how to hold one? Well this here’s your lucky day. Today we’re kicking off a short series of mini uke lessons so you can strum away to your heart’s content.
Take a peek at the video to learn your first uke chords, or as a review if you already play. You should note, in the video I’m playing a soprano ukulele in C (the most common), so be sure that’s the type you have if you’re studying up using the Ukulele 101 series. Now let’s play!
If you’re hungry for more, we’ve got a few of our favorite ukulele links for ya! Stay tuned next week for more Ukulele 101. xoxo
Make your own pineapple ukulele.
Stay in tune!
Review chords (or find lots more).
More in-depth tutorials, if you just can’t get enough.
This is so useful! I just happen to be an elementary music teacher, and I haven’t been able to get a guitar for my classroom, but a Ukulele would be a great substitute! Thanks for sharing! LOVE!
Ah! Hope it helps you out Celeste!
This is awesome, Chels! So excited to see the rest of the videos. You make it look so easy.
This is such a wonderful, original idea! I just love to see someone doing something original. Thanks, I’m definitely saving this. You’re awesome!
