Twenty Fourteen

January 2 2014 |

Good morning, new year. How are we all feeling about staring into the face of another 365 days? I love it. I do. I love the fresh possibilities, the feeling of pushing a reset button, the impetus to look back and see what you’ve accomplished, and the chance to look ahead and purposefully plan to make life lovely.

These little lists have become a tradition for me over the last couple of years (here’s 2012 and 2013). Each year some things stay, some things go, and they adjust a bit to accommodate the things that I think I’d really love to work on. It’s also just a nice barometer for the way I’d like to live, and keep myself on what I think is a pretty good path. This year, I’ve designed it with you guys in mind, too, and you can download it for your desktop wallpaper if you like (the download is below).

And I’d love to hear if any of this rings true for you! Or if you have a few things that you would add to your own list this year. Let’s get a fresh start. xoxo

  1. Awesome goals! Relaxation will be on mine! Just kind of waking up earlier and bringing in the day on a good note, stretching, making a good breakfast, and actually sitting down to enjoy things!

    1. That’s a great idea — too often the first thing I do is check email, which feels kind of gross. A cup of tea on the patio sounds like a better plan. 🙂

  2. I love the “know you are enough.” I get in a rut a lot with comparing myself to others and not thinking I’m good enough. I’m hoping that this year, I can kick that happy and be better to myself.

  3. Such a lovely list! Thank you for generously sharing you talent with all of us. You’ve inspired me to explore my creativity this past year and I look forward to what 2014 has in store for you and your readers (myself included).

  4. Such a beautiful list! Thankfully for sharing talent with all of us with generosity, you have inspired me to explore my creativity last year and I hope that what has been stored for you and your readers (included by me) in 2014 .
