Trade & Made

I’ve been super inspired by collaborations with other bloggers these days. So when Erin & Laura approached me to be a part of their new project, Trade & Made, I was pumped. Trade & Made is an interactive craft challenge, and some of my best pals and favorite bloggers are playing along. We all have been sent a box of materials and instructed to create a project, with only the materials in the box. I’m so excited to see what the other women have up their sleeves!

To be honest, it’s a little nerve wracking — these girls are all seriously creative, and while it’s not a competition, I’m a little intimidated by the crafting royalty. But nonetheless, I got the box of goodies a few days ago and I’m seriously pumped to dig in. Check out what was included in the package.

Lots of awesome sponsors filled the box with all kinds of inspiring stuff — Clear & Simple, For the Makers, Michael’s, Deco Art, and Specialty Bottle all hooked us up with some pretty rad materials. Right away, I was inspired by the pink and yellow color palette and I’m pretty sure I’m going to head in that direction, so my project will definitely involve painting! But for the full reveal and to see everyone else’s projects, tune in on July 31st.

And if you visit the Trade & Made site you can follow the links to all of the participants to see their projects as well. Not to mention the fact that you should just go ooh and aah over the website — it was designed by our girl Gloria, of Little White Whale! Remember her desktop design?

Be sure to check back on the 31st and see what everyone makes! xoxo
