This week was fall. Heater, socks, tea, blankets, fall. It was awesome. It made me want to simultaneously hibernate, and get down to business on a bunch of projects. So we kind of did both. Days were full of working, planning, meeting, and making things happen. And evenings were spent in, cooking, drinking wine, and catching up on t.v. under blankets on the couch. It was kind of a delicious week.
Also, I’m finally learning to play the banjo (and have the callouses on my fingers to prove it). Last year, I did a show that required me to play the banjo, but I totally wimped out — instead, I played the banjitar, which looks and sounds like a banjo but you play it like a guitar. I chose to play that instead because I already knew the guitar and thought it would be easier. Don’t know why I did that — I wish I wouldn’t have. I wish I would have just met the challenge head-on and picked up a new instrument and learned it. Well, better late than never, and here we are. Mr. Lovely is on the verge of earplugs what with all of the plucking and strumming. In any case, I hope your week was lovely, and here’s to new challenges! xoxo
