this week

Phewph! This was a major catch-up week. After last weekend, which was not only Mr. Lovely’s birthday, but the opening weekend of our show, we had a few things to get back on track. I don’t know if any of you have ever participated in live theatre, but tech week (the week before a show opens) is usually crazed, and this was no exception. Lots of our time was going to rehearsal and prep, and so this week we were tackling our overgrown to-do lists. But I think we’re back in the game! (By the way, if you’d like to come see the show we’re doing, info is here.)

Also, my sweet mom is coming to town today! She’s popping in to see the show and spend a couple of days hanging out. It’s so wonderful to be close enough to my family now that if we want to plan a visit, somebody can just hop in a car and drive for a few hours (a really great alternative to a 3,000 mile flight, if you ask me). So be on the lookout for lots of mom pictures — follow along on my Instagram to catch the action.

And in a complete non-sequitur, it’s fall and I am loving it. So here’s a tiny pumpkin.

Finally, you guys, the internet was blowing my mind this week! I found so much food for thought my brain is stuffed. If you have a chance, click around through some of these links. Have a good one! xoxo
