Please pardon the title of this post. I may be blogging about jewelry here, but I’m still a musical theatre nerd to the core. Moving on!
This weekend I spent some time toodling around in a few Brooklyn jewelry boutiques, and I noticed an abundance of jewelry that used druzy — teensy quartz crystals that form on the surface of another stone. I have sort of fallen in love.
This stuff is beyond lovely — it’s plain old gorgeous. It’s twinkly and sparkly, but it has rough edges and a jagged texture that balances out all of that twinkle. I hopped on Etsy to see what druzy treasures I could find, and I hit the mother lode. I love how chunky and funky it all is!
From top: Brilliant Agate Geode Ring from Dara Ettinger. Tropical Luxe Carnelian and Druzy Earrings from Beijo Flor. Gold Hoop Earrings with Green-Blue Agate Druzy Slice from LH Jewelry Boutique. Salmon Pink Druzy Agate set in Oxidized Sterling Silver from rednoosh. Stalactite Necklace from Jadyn’s Jewels.
I am absolutely swooning over the green-blue earrings — they went on my list of favorites immediately! Early Christmas present to myself? Hmmm… A girl can dream. xoxo
