Today, I find myself so grateful for the situation that Mr. Lovely and I have found ourselves in this year. We took a huge leap, moving away from NYC and back to California, and it has enriched our lives in so many ways. I’m thankful for new friends that we have, old friends that we miss, new jobs, space, light, and sunshine. And beyond thankful that we’re so much closer to family.
I’ve loved reading our special guests’ lists of gratitude today. These two girls are a couple of my faves, for their endless creativity and sweet spirits. Big thanks to Jenny of Hank + Hunt and Shoko of Sho & Tell for visiting us today. And don’t forget, we want to hear from you too — tell us in the comments why you’re thankful. xoxo
“I am so thankful for my family. They support me in everything I do and love me for my quirks. I love them so much and I still can’t believe how fast it is all shooting by. I love my boys and I am so happy I get to be home to spend my days with them. I’m thankful to everyone who gave me a shot this year and helped me do what I love. I am so very grateful to everyone who helped me along and cheered me on. You didn’t have to, but you did and that’s part of what makes you so amazing.” -Jenny
“I’m thankful for health and happiness, family and friends. Also, for loud music and late-night adventures. For books and poetry so good they give me chills. For my beautiful neighborhood. For oysters on the half shell and pie at midnight. For growing up, for better or for worse. For fresh starts. For new challenges. And for the opportunity to do what makes me happy in a city I love, surrounded by people who inspire me. I’m beyond blessed – the luckiest girl I know!” -Shoko
