Let’s keep it real — I’m no cook. I like to bake, and I like to eat, but cooking? Not so much. That’s usually Mr. Lovely’s department. Which is exactly why I was so proud of myself the other evening when I dreamed up this ridiculously delicious (and embarrassingly easy) meal!
Grab a baguette, some brie, and some salami. Slice the baguette into 1-inch thick pieces and drizzle with olive oil. Top each piece with some salami and a piece of brie and broil for 5-8 minutes, until brie is melted and bread is crispy & brown on the edges.
Toss together a simple salad (ours was literally lettuce, tomato, and balsamic) and eat! You guys, I’m an amazing cook now. Boom. xoxo
That looks so delicious! I’m going to have to make this….soon!
So, so easy — and I have to say, it was just as good served cold the next morning. Don’t judge. 🙂
Yum. And you can use some healthy-ish kind of salami, no?
Yeah! We were saying that they’d make great party food because they’re so easy to put together (and quick). You could make all kinds of substitutions, too!
Embarrassingly easy meals are where it’s at, girl! This looks scrumptious, and maybe a good idea for the Super Bowl? Great pics, as always, too!! 🙂
This is very upsetting because salami is one of my most favourite foods but not something a pregnant lady should eat! I can’t tell you how much I want this right now!
