These days I’m loving outfits that combine something really laid back and something kind of glam. I think I learned this from my Aunt Sandy, who will literally wear sweatpants with a wrist full of diamonds. It’s kind of fabulous.
But this outfit is a perfect example! I was recently sent this awesome necklace from t + j Designs, and I knew right away that I wanted to pair it with something really comfy that would set it off. I love, love, love how it looks with my favorite jeans and that utility jacket.
Another cool thing about the jacket? There’s a hood hidden in that collar! It zips inside when you don’t want to use it and makes the collar puffy, which I love. Full disclosure, you guys: the majority of this outfit is from Forever 21. You guys know I love to shop but don’t have a bottomless wallet, so I love hunting around F21 for things that look like they might be more expensive than they actually are. I think you can pull together some gorgeous outfits this way!
The nail polish is a new adventure — it’s First Mate from China Glaze, with Stroke of Brilliance from Essie on the ring fingers. I love the blue so far! Still feeling out the glitter… Not so sure yet! Any deep thoughts on glitter nail polish?
