If you’re in the Toluca Lake area, you should stop by the Pumpkin Patch! We took a quick trip there for Mr. Lovely’s recent birthday, and had a pretty great time.
The patch obviously has a ton of pumpkins (in all shapes, sizes, and colors), but it also has a haunted maze and a petting zoo if you’re bringing little ones. And the friendly guys who were helping us pick out pumpkins were super-helpful, too — they literally shined the ones that we picked out to take home. At the end, they hauled everything to our car for us and sent us on our merry way!
And speaking of merry, they have a Christmas tree lot in the same location during the holidays. Anyone ever been? If their trees are anything like their pumpkins, they’re going to be awesome. xoxo
I love the pumpkins in the last photo. They are so dark and gloomy – how festive!

Love the gourds as always! It seems nice to have a birthday around this time of the year!
Next year I’m going to check out this pumpkin patch because the one I went to was terrible!
Oh no, what a bummer! Well, for what it’s worth, we had a great time there, and the people were so friendly. Try it out next time!
wow! beautiful pumpkins! I will have to check out my local patch next year. And if they dont shine my pumpkins, I may be a little disappointed. haha Great post!
Haha! Yeah, you tell ’em that they shine them up for free over in Toluca Lake!
