Every year, I rejuvenate my efforts to stay organized and sane by treating myself to a little memo book. Not quite a journal, and not quite a notepad, my memo books fall somewhere in between and collect my thoughts, lists, to-dos, blog ideas, song ideas, and plans for just about anything. I try to find something that I enjoy the look and feel of, so I’m more likely to want to open it and use it.
This year, after having been eyeing this particular little memo book forever, and after Santa so generously brought me an Anthropologie gift card, I picked up the Prospero Journal in white.
So far, it’s a perfect choice. It’s about 4 x 6 inches, so it fits perfectly in a purse. Extra bonus: there’s room by the closure to slip a little pen inside. The hand-bound pages are nice and thick. The leather is delicious and soft, and while the tassel-wrap closure may take an extra couple of seconds to open and close, it’s so cute you just don’t notice. Overall review: two thumbs up. Here’s to an inspired and organized 2011! xoxo
