Design by Jordan Brantley!

I’m pretty pumped today, because I finally get to share with you guys something that I’ve been working on for months. (Like… 8 months, to be exact.)

Last spring, Brittni, Kelly, and I had the chance to hang for a day or so while Brit was traveling here in LA. We spent some time at the flower market, brunched at a favorite restaurant, and then the two of them went on to work on a few projects together. At some point, Brittni made the offhand comment about how cool it would be if we could bring some of our favorite creatives together for a few days just to hang out, create, daydream, and help each other with projects. We were like, “Well obviously that would be awesome…” And at first it seemed like something that would never happen. But the more we talked about it, the more we wanted to make it happen. So you guys — we are.

We are making it happen! It’s happening! I still kind of can’t believe it. Next month, we’ll be gathering some wonderful, beautiful, creative bloggers together in Palm Springs for about three days of creating, brainstorming, learning, sharing, and just being inspired. It’s called Meet/Make/Do, and that’s exactly what will be happening. Meeting our pals, making stuff happen, and doing fantastic things.

I’m excited because it’s all very experimental, and so we have the ability to mold it into anything we like. (That, by the way, is also the totally scary part. Ha!) Our goal is to have our guests (and ourselves!) leave feeling inspired, and with some beautiful content to share with you all. Whether that means a new project they complete, or a photo tour of Palm Springs, or just a recap of the event, we hope that it inspires people to create something new.

And most of all, we are so grateful to be working with the folks at Bing, who are sponsoring Meet/Make/Do and making it possible. We’ve been using Bing tools to bring the project to life, and I can’t wait to share that with you as well. You may have already seen it, but you can follow the hashtag #MeetMakeBing to keep up with the event and how it takes shape.

We hope you’re excited to see more, and we are pumped to share with you! More updates to come. For now, stop back here tomorrow for a fun little Valentine’s Day DIY! xoxo

  1. This. Sounds. Amazing! This is something I’ve dreaming about for what seems forever, or rather my own incarnation of this idea. Excited to hear more as it develops!
