While we’re getting used to being parents, I’ve invited a few of my darling blog pals to stop by and share a post or two with you! I’m so grateful for the awesome folks who have been helping out, and today we get to hear from Kelly of Studio DIY. Here she is!
Hey folks! Kelly here from Studio DIY and I’m gonna take you on a tour of one of my favorite little shops in Los Angeles while Chelsea and Ryan are off snuggling little Henry (!). Max & Moritz calls itself “a not so general store” and I couldn’t think of a better description. You can find everything from gilded trivets to handcrafted wooden cutting boards to colorful and quirky ceramics and one-of-a-kind jewelry and accessories. Basically, if you need a not-so-average gift, it’s your one stop shop. Any store that has mini pink saucepans and marble wall clocks is a place to frequent, in my book. Let’s dive in!
If you’re a fan of MUD Australia, they’ve got a STELLAR collection. I’m eyeing those pink pieces so hard. Their selection of REISS pieces is another favorite, along with table (or two!) you see when you walk in which is choc full of gold…. everything!
They have an online shop too (BONUS!) but if you want to check it out in person, Max & Moritz is located at 7209 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90046. They also happen to own FOODLAB which is a block away and DELISH! Shopping with a slammin’ sandwich and Bon Nuage cake waiting for you afterward? Sign me up!
