Married Life // The Good Stuff

So I’ve been wanting to do a post for a while about being married and pet peeves. You know, the little things that you each do that make the other one completely bonkers. I sat down to write that post, but then I realized that it may be a little harsh, being the day before Valentine’s Day and all. So I decided to do the opposite — a little list for internet land about all the ways that Mr. Lovely is awesome. (We’ll save the pet peeves for another day — because we’ve all got ’em, and ain’t nobody perfect.) Here we go.

GoodStuff

He doesn’t judge me about my taste, even when I’m watching this.

He smiles for an infinite number of self photographs of the two of us.

He stands up and gives his seat when a lady enters a room.

He can figure out a solution to just about any problem you give him.

He makes stuff like this not because I ask him to, but because he likes it.

He’ll always stop to get me a chai latte.

I could go on and on but I don’t want to make you barf! But I would really love to hear a few reasons why your spouse or partner is awesome. Come on, brag a little! And then go home and tell them what you wrote about them on the internet. Let’s have a love fest! xoxo

  1. My husband is awesome because I got in my car this morning to head to work and it was full of gas! He went and filled my tank last night and I had no idea 🙂

  2. He loves me, always, regardless of how I act or what’s going on. His loves for me does not hinge on who I am, but what he is called to be. 🙂

  3. Yay for a little hubby lovin’!

When mine gets home from work or running errands, before anything else he gives me a giant hug and wraps both arms allll the way around me – best feeling ever.

  4. What a sweet post! I love that my husband is always thinking of special things he can do for me. And he won’t take no for an answer when he wants to execute his plans for romantic domination! =D

  5. My honey always makes me feel important. He considers my plans and feelings while makong important and unimportant decisions and gives me lots of love and affection. We have the same views on life, love, family and friendship, which is also simply wonderful. He’s pretty super C:

  6. great post. hm, so many reasons why i love my hubby. some of the most recent are things like; making me 3 dinners a day (cause he didn’t know which i wouldn’t be able to eat), or feeding me while i was breastfeeding our son (cause i was starving and couldn’t do it at the same time). he is faithful and always gives his 110% in our relationship. he always makes compromises. he cleans and does the dishes and cooks when i’m sick of it. he listens very well. anyway… the list goes on. i’m happy, yay! 🙂

    love, x

  7. I’ve only dated my bf for 3 months but he’s the best that ever happened to me.. He is considerate and caring and he pays attention to what I like and prefer. He’ll go to my apartment while I’m at work and place lilies (my favorite) in a vase on my dining table. So when I come home I’ll be entering an apartment that smells of beautiful lilies. He even cuts the stems on an angle and peels off the lower leaves first, cause I did that the first time he brought me flowers..

  8. He loves me just the way I am – and a million other things but that really makes you feel amazing when you are loved for being you! Plus he’s a great Dad to our 18 month old girl!
