Holy smokes, things are moving fast around here! About a zillion things are happening, and they’re all good. I’ve been keeping it cool (and quiet), but now that things are getting confirmed, I can start shouting from the rooftops.
First, I’m happy to announce that I’ll be heading out on the road in 2011 with the new Dreamworks touring production of Madagascar! I’m pretty stoked (and so thankful!) to be working with Dreamworks — word on the street is that the production is going to be pretty amazing, and it’s gonna be cool to be in on it from the ground up. I’m cast as the female swing, which means I’ll be covering the three girls in the ensemble by learning each of their tracks. There’s also a chance that I’ll be understudying Gloria the Hippo, which would be super fun!
In any case, I’m so grateful to have a job, especially in the climate that the theatre community currently finds itself. Times are tough for everyone — including actors! 🙂
It’ll be tricky planning a wedding from the road, but you know I’m up for a challenge. Timing is going to work out perfectly, and I have faith that everything else will, too. In the meantime, check out Madagascar’s website here, for tour dates and some more info. xoxo
