Eye Chart Printable

If you’ve seen The Princess Bride, this printable needs no introduction. If you haven’t… see it yesterday. Seriously one of the best movies of all time.

When we were living in NYC and just putting together our first gallery wall in a new apartment, we had a blank spot that we needed to fill. We wanted something kind of funny but not dumb, and something that might take a while for people to see and figure out. Oh, and cheap. We wanted it cheap.

So we sat together one night and designed this eye chart with the Inigo Montoya quote from Princess Bride! An obvious choice, no? We thought so. (I actually featured the wall in a post here, forever ago before I knew how to take photos or blog. Ew. Don’t go look at that. No really. Don’t.)

But long story short, the eye chart is back and now you can download it here it if you want to print it out for your own house! When we first had it up it was framed but these days I kind of like it clipped up.

I’d love to know if you plan on putting this weird little thing in your house! Or how ’bout this — what other movie quotes would make awesome eye charts? xoxo

  1. Target used to carry an oversized eye chart that read “always look on the bright side of life,” which of course made me think of Monty Python. This is just as sweet!

  2. I LOVE THIS! Princess Bride is my fav so I am definitely printing this out and adding it to our frame wall! 🙂

    Thanks so much!

  3. It’s too long for an eye chart, but I’ve always wanted to do something with Kevin Costner’s “I believe in …” quote from Bull Durham. Thanks for this printable, I love The Princess Bride!

  4. Where is the massive like button?! This print is fabulous! Just like The Princess Bride, haha WHAT a movie. I am having a retro-movie-night for my birthday this year, and guess what’s top of the list 😉 Have a great day!

  5. I would love to do Mr. Darcy’s line from pride and prejudice, “You have bewitched me body and soul. . .”
