I’m gonna come right out and say it: we do. We have a TV in our bedroom and always have. When I think about it, most of the people I know have one, too. And I really don’t mind! We don’t watch it as a habit, but when we want to snuggle up in bed and watch a movie, or turn on something in the morning it’s nice not to have to huddle around a laptop screen.

But I have to say, what makes it extra cool is the Samsung Frame. Have you seen this thing? I first saw a photo of it on a friend’s Instagram feed and I thought it was a beautiful framed piece of art. Because it sort of… is. When you’re not watching the television, it’s designed to look like an art piece displayed on your shelf or wall. It comes with 100 curated art selections to choose from, or you can upload your own images and display your family photos and more. Not only that, its quality is top tier – it’s 4k UHD so you know whatever you are watching is going to be a lifelike, crisp picture. To put it mildly, it’s brilliant. I don’t know how nobody thought of this before!

Because part of the problem with having a television in your space is that it feels like a big ugly black hole when it’s turned off, right? But The Frame totally alleviates that problem. Once you turn the TV off it seamlessly blends into your décor (and even automatically adjusts to the ambient light in the room). And I love that you can customize the outer edge to look like a picture frame as well with the interchangeable bezels.

With the holidays here I’ve been feeling super festive, so I’ve even been letting Henry come into our room during Maggie’s nap and watch Christmas movies every once in a while. We stay in our holiday jammies until she goes down and then we hop on the bed and pick a movie. Do you guys remember hanging out in your parents’ room when you were little? There’s something so fun about it. I remember it feeling slightly forbidden, which made it even better. Henry is allll about watching movies in bed, so I’ve been showing him my holiday faves on The Frame. One of my crowning achievements as a mom so far is that he loved my very favorite, White Christmas. Watching him see and love all of the dance numbers borders on heart-bursting territory for me. The other day he said, “Mom, I can dance like that too.” And I was like, “Sure, buddy.” And then in my head I immediately started planning to get him into tap lessons. 😉

I think for us, a TV in the bedroom has been less a distraction or nuisance and more an enriching experience! The Frame is such a beautiful visual addition to the new master, and it’s been so fun to incorporate a new little holiday tradition with Henry. Also, if you’re looking to add one to your home for the holidays, The Frame is currently $200 off the 55” and 65” sizes until 12/30! Hope your holiday traditions have you feeling festive too! xoxo

  1. I don’t but there are definitely days I wish I did! I think we’d have one by now if it wasn’t a space issue!

  2. Yes, I have set up a TV on my bedroom and my son bedroom.
I always love to watch Movies on the Big screen like Smart TV 🙂

  3. These colors used to decorate the room are extremely outstanding. I’ve always liked bright and colorful tones.
