Have I told you my dirty secret? That I love beautiful gift wrap but actually really don’t like wrapping gifts? I know, it’s like DIY blogger blasphemy. So I’m always on the hunt for gift wrap ideas that are super cool but take approximately two seconds. And I do believe I’ve found just the thing.
I’m sure you remember my obsession with label makers, yeah? So Epson’s new label printer has been working overtime at my house, labeling everything up, down, and sideways. And the coolest thing about it is that you can design the labels on your phone! What?! The LW-600P has an app that lets you design and print right from your smartphone — you can even use the touchscreen to draw your own design if you want. Oh man I went to town. It turns out the label maker is the answer to my gift wrap conundrum. I designed, printed, and wrapped these little gifties for a girlfriend in about 10 minutes, but they’re so fun and totally personalized! Each ribbon has a story or an inside joke printed in gold ink. You can customize these babies for all of your friends, or for any holiday. And it’s crazy easy! Read on for the how-to, and be sure to enter to win an Epson label printer of your own!

Step 1: Download the Epson iLabel app to your smartphone. Turn on bluetooth on your phone and connect it to the label printer. Insert the ribbon cartridge into the printer per the instructions.
Step 2: Design your ribbon! Choose an inside joke, an old story, some song lyrics — anything you like! Pick your favorite font and style, include some icons, or draw something by hand.
Step 3: Print it out! (That’s the fun part.)
Step 4: Wrap your gifts with some fun paper and finish them off with your customized ribbon.
Boom! I can personally guarantee your gift will a hit if for no other reason than that it’s wrapped in the coolest ribbon in town. So! Wanna win your own label maker? One lucky entry will be chosen at random to win an Epson LW-600P label maker. Good luck! xoxo

Can I use regular ribbon from craft store to feed in the printer?is this thermal or a separate ink catridge? Thanks!
Hi Stephanie! It’s a specific cartridge that needs to be used, so regular ribbon from the craft store wouldn’t work. Thanks for your question!
