Glasses

I have a confession. I wear fake glasses all the time. I have since I was in high school — I’ve always wished that I needed glasses! Darn my parents and their good vision genes. (Kidding. Mostly.) So when Glasses.com came to me and asked if I might like to check out some of their styles, I jumped at the chance. See, I may not need prescription glasses, but I could order any of their frames with clear lenses, just to look like the cool kids.

That being said, I do have a vested interest in knowing who’s got good specs, because Mr. Lovely actually does need them. And he looks adorable in them, if I do say so myself. He always threatens to get corrective eye surgery, but I’d never let him because he looks too cute in a tortoiseshell frame. So we went to Glasses.com and had a little fun! He window-shopped their men’s prescription glasses.

Glasses

Oakley. Spy. Penguin. Penguin. Ernest Hemmingway.

While he was doing that, I browsed their women’s sunglasses (they’ve got prescription lenses for sunnies, too). Not gonna lie, I also looked at the women’s prescription glasses, just for funsies. And we picked a few of our faves! So tell me what’s up. Do you wear glasses? Any of these strike your fancy? And whether you do or don’t need specs, do you ever wish it were the other way around?

Big thanks to Glasses.com! xoxo

  1. Love this selection Chelsea. I too “perpetrate” and rock my black framed non-prescriptions like crazy. I’m often cleaning them off like I seriously need them to see or something (this psychosis of mine is getting out of hand! lol). They just make be feel like “outfit complete!”

I really like the 2nd and 4th pairs in your picks. If I’m addicted to anything it’s glasses for sure.

  2. I really love your blog! That I have to say first;).
And I’ve been wondering how you do these nice collections of items in one picture with the description buttons – Adobe Photoshop? Or is there an easier way? I just started blogging, so I am still about to learn the really nice ways how to.
If you have a tip fo me how this works, this would be amazing!
All the best and KEEP BLOGGING!!

    1. Hi Filou — yes, I use Photoshop to make those collages. It took me a little while to get comfortable with the program but once you get the hang of it, it’s so useful! I started with Photoshop Elements, and now I use the full Photoshop program. You can download a free trial to see if you like it on the Adobe website!

      1. Thank you!!! Alright, so I go for the free trial. I already worked with it once, but usually Adobe programs make my computer pretty slow. But I quess it’s worth it!;)
        Have a great weekend!!
