Ten Things: Thankful

Work Hard & Be Nice

Phewph. I’m ready for aย weekend, y’all, how about you?! I’m going to weekend so hard, Saturday and Sunday won’t even know what hit ’em. (I love using “weekend” as a verb, don’t you?)

In any case, what with Meet/Make/Do behind us and now tying up all the loose ends, it’s been a long time coming that I have a chance to stop thinking about work for a bit. I’m heading into the weekend pretty wiped out but happy and so grateful for so many things. So I thought I’d keep it simple today and just have a Ten Things post about what I’m most thankful for right now.

1. My eternally rosy glasses.

2. Meeting gracious, kind, generous people.

3. Clear skies after rain.

4. Trader Joe’s.

5. Being able to read situations clearly and make a decision.

6. Sweatpants.

7. A husband who justย gets it.

8. Looking through a zillion photos.

9. Knowing that you’ve done your best.

10. Sweatpants. Yes, again.

Leave me a note about what makes you feel thankful! And have a beautiful weekend. xoxo

I think it’s wonderful how you take the time to list out some things you’re thankful for, I know that’s something I should do more often! Lately, I’ve been very thankful for finally hearing birds chirping again, almonds with chocolate, and all of the amazing blogs I’ve (somehow) found in the past few months; they’ve given me so much inspiration!

I love these, Elle! Thanks for sharing! (And almonds with chocolate — ohhhh snap that’s a good one.)

Me too! Kind of sums up my philosophy. ๐Ÿ™‚

2.) Cinnamon raisin toast and hard-over eggs (with crispy edges) after my long distance runs.
    3.) Instagram (yes, really)
4.) A husband who gets it
5.) 44 more days until Marathon Monday

Go get ’em at that marathon, girl!

all the love and support I get from my husband.
…the fact I was raised by my two beautiful parents. I lost my father and I miss him everyday but I’m lucky enough to have my mother close to me.
…being the mother to the sweetest little boy that makes me appreciate the simple moments of life.
…having a roof over my head and a full refrigerator. We often take this for granted but it’s a HUGE deal to most people on this planet..
…having a job that even though I don’t like, it’s decent and I get to spend my day with people I like and appreciate.
…living in Greece! With the economic crisis and the dead end that has reached in many levels we forget that we live in the most beautiful country of all.
…all the friends that I have and stand by me in good times or in bad.
    And many more…

This is beautiful, Katerina! Thanks for sharing. And I’d love to visit Greece one day — I can only imagine how beautiful it is.

Where did you get the sequin gold tablecloth? Or is it not a table cloth?

    • chelsea on said:

Hi Jaime! It’s actually a swatch of fabric from The Fabric Store LA. So sequiny and fun!

I love “thankful’ lists. The best way to stay grounded and filled with gratitude!
