Sometimes a free printable just hits the spot, right? I’ve been in a pinch more than a few times for a card or tag and just hit up some of my pals on the internet for a quick printable for the occasion. So if you find yourself in need of some tags for your Valentine’s Day gifts, I’ve got your back!
Make Time: 20 Minutes
Step 1: Download the files right here. Note: These are special files meant to work with Avery’s Design & Print Online platform, so don’t fret if it seems like they didn’t download properly! Just carry on to the next step.
Step 2: Open the files at avery.com/open.
Step 3: Choose the tags you’d like and print on the Avery Printable Tags with Strings.
Step 4: Fold the printed sheet at the perforations to pop the tags out, and wrap your gifts!
Cute, huh? I sat down to design these and started liking the design so much I could have gone on making a slew of different versions. But I figured four was enough for even you Valentine’s Day superfans, so four it is. And I’ve also decided that pink and yellow is officially my new favorite Valentine color combo.
Also! This is the first of a year full of awesome printables in a collab with Avery! So if there are any deep and yearning desires for a certain kind of printable that’s missing from your life, holla at your girl. xoxo

Hey lovelies — here we are. Back at the start with another chance to do it right. Isn’t that a beautiful thing?
This has become a tradition around here, and one of my favorites. I don’t do resolutions, but at the end of every year I sit down and think through what I need to focus on in the future. I boil it all down and it becomes this: a barometer of how I’m living, whether I’m on the right path, and where I’d like to be in a year’s time. Pretty much none of it is tangible or quantifiable. It’s more about what’s inside. And for me, I’ve always found that when what’s inside feels good, what’s outside tends to fall into place.
You should go back and read through my old ones (links are below). It’s pretty interesting to see what’s stuck around, what’s totally new, and what’s cycled back in from a previous year. Do any of these ring true for you? What would be on your list? In case this gets ya right in your ever-lovin’ heart, you can download it to add to your desktop as a little hug from me to you. Let’s make this year a beauty. xoxo

Hands up if you love pizza! (Pretty sure you should all have your hands in the air.) This wallpaper by Leah Pellegrini was too good not to share, so I was totally pumped when she offered to give it to you lovelies to dress up your computers and phones! Leah’s a rad creative who dabbles in a little bit of everything — graphic design, photography, art, and more. Find her on Instagram to follow her adventures!
And in the meantime, download this little “Pizza My Heart” design for your desktop, iPad, or iPhone below! Mine is currently on my phone and it’s brainwashing me into wanting pizza for dinner every night (and some days for breakfast, if I’m being honest). If you can’t get enough, you can find Leah’s pizza design and more goodies over in her Society 6 shop. Thanks Leah! xoxo

Yay flag from FlagFest!
Hey you gorgeous people! Just swinging by quickly today to shoot a little freebie your way! I was messing with patterns for a little project recently and accidentally made these watercolored gemstones. You can download this wallpaper for your desktop, your iPad, or your iPhone and bling yourself out… for free. And ain’t nothing better than free.
Hope you like em, and have a great day! xoxo

Since my last project using HP’s Sprout, I’ve been getting to know the machine a little better and testing the boundaries of what it can do. This time around I wanted to use the overhead camera and scanner features a little more, and try out a few different materials to see how they’d photograph. Initially I was trying to think of things to toss onto the touchpad to see how they’d photograph (fresh flowers? washi tape? my child?), and then it hit me that it might be fun to see how it would work with something reflective. So…. glitter.
You’ll be happy to know that it worked fantastically. You’ll also be happy to know that my glitter shenanigans resulted in a crazy, sparkly, bossy desktop wallpaper that you can download right here. You’ll be happiest to know that all remnants of our glitter fiasco have been obliterated thanks to our handy DustBuster. (Although I’m not gonna lie, there was more than one time that I was feeding Henry and looked down to find a speck of gold glitter in his hair.)
But I digress. This feature on the Sprout is totally fun! You can put items on the mat, scan or photograph them, and then manipulate them with the computer to add them to your design work. It’s kind of brilliant, and a very hands-on approach to design which is a refreshing change from just working with images on a computer all the time. It’s very cool to be able to touch and rearrange things on the mat and capture them right there, without using your own camera as a middle man. Kind of a new way to work, but it’s exciting!
And so friends, I hope this glittery goodness finds its way onto your desktop. For more info about the Sprout and to see it in action, head right over here (Todd Selby’s video is particularly rad!). Yeah! xoxo

While we’re getting used to being parents, I’ve invited a few of my darling blog pals to stop by and share a post or two with you! I’m so grateful for the awesome folks who have been helping out, and today we get to hear from Corina of Cocorrina. Here she is!
Hi everyone! This is Corina from Cocorrina filling in for Chelsea, while she’s on a maternity leave with her first little one! And I’m here today to just spread a little bit of that love on the air. With Valentine’s Day around the corner, I wanted to share with you a tiny printable that you can send not only to your boyfriend, but anyone you love.
There’s nothing better to receive a love note from a dear one on Valentine’s Day right? You can print it here, and spread the love!
Thanks Corina! For more gorgeous design, inspiration, and beautiful downloads, be sure to head over to Cocorrina!
Here it is. Not my resolutions, not my goals, just my list of how I’d like to be living in 2015. I’ve been doing this for the last few years and I really love it. And truthfully, I look at it throughout the year and it helps me get focused. (See 2012, 2013, and 2014 if you’re interested.) Hopefully it inspires you somehow as well — and if you really love it you can download it as a desktop wallpaper to keep around when you need it.
Do you set any goals or resolutions at the new year? Or just jot down some thoughts? I’d love to know if any of the things on my little list apply to you, or what you’d put on yours. xoxo

Happy 2015, guys! I’m so happy to be back here (and see you back here too). It was a gorgeous holiday break and the new year feels so full of joy and unknown adventures already.
Do you make resolutions? If you remember, I’m not so much a resolution girl, but I do like to write down thoughts about how I’d love the year to be. (See here 2014, 2013, 2012. This year’s is coming soon!) But if you like to jot things down, here’s a lovely little printable I designed to help get the year going. It comes with a tutorial on how to make those gorgeous gold leaf letters, too, so get on it! That’s my favorite part, obviously. And don’t you think a little gold leaf will make it that much more pleasant to work on those New Year goals? I’m thinking absolutely.
Grab the download right here. Wishing you a perfect first Monday of the new year! xoxo
I love how many sweets there are to sample around the holidays. Seriously, there are chocolates and cookies and breads and cakes flying every which way, and I ain’t mad at it. If you made a treat that you’d like to share, I have a little printable that might just help you out. (Especially if you’re one of those crazy cats that does cookie exchanges. Those things are intense.)
You just print on those pretty little glassine baggies, fold over and secure with washi tape, and your sweet treats are all dressed up and ready to go home with your pals. Get the download right here and get to it! xoxo
Stay hungry, stay foolish.

This quote always gets me revved up. When I need a little kick in the pants I think of those words and it gives me a boost to do the thing that I am afraid to do. I love having this wallpaper on my computer desktop.
And today’s designer nailed it! Ciera Holzenthal has such a cool, natural style, and I love how it fits with this particular quote. Ciera is a busy bee — she’s the owner, graphic designer, and blogger behing Ciera Design Studio. She also founded The Made in Mind Social and recently launched an ebook called The Meetup Guide, all about how to plan and host local events in your area. I love her focus on getting creative people together! Here’s more about Ciera.

Pretty simple, huh? Spread love. Instead of fear, or hate, or intolerance, or frustration, spread love. It’s that simple.
I love the work that Ilana Zatkowsky did on today’s simple quote for this week’s desktop wallpaper freebie. It’s sweet without being overly so, and it somehow looks a little bit alive. Like I can picture her scrawling it out and taking a step back to look at it. I love it.
Ilana is the gal behind Sugar and Type, where she creates designs for brands, websites, and wedding invites. Take a peek through her Portfolio and you’ll see how fun the Sugar and Type vibe is — it’s colorful, vibrant, and sometimes just a bit offbeat, which I love. (Psst — she and her sister are also introducing a jewelry line to the shop soon, so keep an eye out for that!). Ilana is actually in the midst of planning her own wedding, so wish her the best for her August nuptials! Here’s more about this doll.
