I like using the word weekend as more than just a noun. I like it as a verb, too. Like, “I’m weekending in the Hamptons.” Or it can be a state of mind! An adjective, like, “I’m feeling pretty weekendy.” You know, kind of easy-breezy and laid back. That’s what this outfit is. Weekendy.
Isn’t that skull bracelet kind of kooky? I got it in China, along with the jade beads, when we were doing a show in Shanghai. The leather wrap bracelet came from a young designers’ market in NYC. I love stacking a bunch of different bracelets with stories!
And those shoes! I’ve literally been searching for the perfect leopard flats for over a year. Finally found ‘em.
This is the perfect outfit for a Saturday morning coffee run, or a day roaming around looking for yard sales, or any old weekendy thing.
