Don’t you just love the 4th of July? I think that 4th parties are some of the most festive, for some reason! I think it’s the fact that everyone — even the people who aren’t usually into that sort of thing — dresses for the occasion. It’s essentially one huge red, white, and blue-themed party all over the U.S.!
And of course, the 4th is our opportunity to be thankful for what we have as citizens of a great country. My favorite way to celebrate the 4th is with a symphonic band playing outside — and I love the Armed Forces Salute, where veterans stand during the songs to their respective branch of the military. It’s such a cool opportunity to stop and think and be thankful for our independence and the people who continue to fight for it.
