Lovely Indeed and west elm // Holiday DIY Workshop

Woah. I have so much exciting news this week I feel like my brain is on fast forward. Like trying to keep a secret when you’re a little kid! Well, wait’s over, y’all. I can finally tell you about a collaboration coming up with my very favorite — west elm!

I know it’s not even Halloween yet, but I’ve been working with the lovely folks at west elm on a holiday project that I think you’re going to swoon for. Those darlings asked me (me!) to put my spin on a holiday mantle using some of my favorite pieces from the store. And on top of that, I put together a DIY project using some of their holiday decor that I’ll be teaching at a workshop here in the Los Angeles store. The same workshop will be taught by other bloggers in west elm stores throughout California. What?! I feel so fancy.

So the pressure was on, right? I had to come up with something really cool to make. And I think I did. If you’re in the LA area, you should join me at west elm on November 14th to make DIY Typography Monogrammed stockings. They’re kind of a modern take on a classic idea, and full of holiday cheer.

Keep an eye out for the full reveal of the holiday mantle, along with more details about the DIY project and workshop. But for now, if you’re itching to reserve your spot at the LA workshop, you can head over to the Facebook event page and RSVP! Space is limited, so grab one while you can. Price of the workshop is just the cost of whichever stocking you choose to monogram ($16-$24). You’ll leave with your own monogrammed stocking, a fun gift bag, and a tummy full of goodies.

Go RSVP! xoxo

P.S. If you’re not in LA, the workshop will also be at west elm stores in San Diego, Santa Monica, Las Vegas, Roseville, Scottsdale, Emeryville, Palo Alto, and South Coast Plaza. Also, check out the west elm blog for more info on other holiday DIY workshops with some pretty wonderful bloggers.
