glitter garlands

Remember the DIY glitter garland I made forever ago?  Well, it kind of took off (see more incarnations here and here), and I recently had a request from someone special for some that might serve as inspiration.  So I chose some words & phrases and went to town!  Here are the results.

If you’re finding yourself in need of a wordy little sparkle garland, don’t be shy — contact me and we can talk about a custom garland, just for you.  xoxo

    I love all of these!

  2. Hey Chels.. Did you change your “recipe”? Some of these pictures looked either (a) thicker than the original simple print out from the DIY post, or (b) double sided. Would you share your secret?

    • I did! I started making them double-sided, so that the thread is sandwiched between two glittered letters. I just cut out an extra set of letters, glittered the front of one set and the back of another, and glued them together. :) Good eye!

      • Nice work! I really like the double-sided-ness of the new ones. They look super expensive and uber-classy!

Hi, Chelsea! I first saw your valentine garland when Ez from Creature Comforts featured it last year, and I loved it SO much–it started a frenzy of garland making! I don’t think I ever commented on the original post but thank you for the inspiration. I love how you’ve added the instructions to use the masking tape (that’s how I found you again today–just a general “word garland” search because I remembered seeing the use of masking tape somewhere . . . turns out that was you as well!). :) That’s an excellent tip and one I’ll try the next time I’m making one. Thanks so much!

Amber, that’s awesome! So glad you made your way back to Lovely Indeed via that search. I’d love to see some of what you made!

  4. Hi there! Do you sell any of your garlands? Great job!
