diy rag knit bathmat

| |

I’m not sure why, but this little 30 by 31 project has been eluding me forever!  It actually started out on the 30 by 30, and I didn’t quite make the deadline.  But here she is in all her glory — a rag knit bathmat, by yours truly.

I came across this pattern on cocoknits last year, and decided I had to try it.  It looked a little intimidating at first, but it’s beyond simple once you break it down.  I used an old queen-sized sheet, ripped it into shreds, and used size 17 needles to knit it back into this mini masterpiece!  And the best part about the whole thing?  It’s super-soft and cushiony under your feet.

Check out cocoknits for bunches of other cool (free!) knitting patterns.  xoxo
