You ever have one of those projects that you could just make all day long? These are them! I swear, I was like Scrooge McDuck rolling around in piles of beautiful sparkly gemstones, trying different arrangements and swiping them away and trying again. This is definitely a project where the process is as fun as the product! DIY gemstone shoe clips for all!

So! Wanna make some of these bad boys for your kicks? I’ve been popping them on this shoe and that shoe and trotting all over town with ’em. These beauties just happen to be great for so many occasions. You could make a batch for holiday gifts, for bridesmaids, for wedding showers, or just about anything! You could also skip the shoes and just clip them onto your purse or your collar for a little extra decoration. Let’s do it!

Materials

Make Time: 15 Minutes (Plus Drying Time)

Step 1: Cut two small swatches of felt. Glue them together, one on top of the other. This creates a stiff base for the gems.

Step 2: On the felt, arrange your gems until you have a configuration that you love.

Step 3: Cover the back of each gem with glue and set it back down in place on the felt, gently pressing to ensure it adheres.

Step 4: Once your gems are all glued, let them dry and cure for 24 hours.

Step 5: Cut all the excess felt away from around the gem arrangement.

Step 6: Glue a shoe clip onto the back of the felt. Allow the clip to dry for 24 hours.

Another great thing about these? The link in our supply list to the shoe clips has ten pairs. So get your girls together and have a crafternoon making these pretties! xoxo
