Out & About // Dell’Osso Pumpkin Farm
A trip to the Dell’Osso Pumpkin Farm has become a tradition with my sister’s family, and this year we took our tiny new nephew, too! If you’re in the California Central Valley (or even the Bay Area), this place is worth a drive to spend a day running around. There’s so much to do, and somehow it’s fun if you’re a kid and also fun if you’re a grown-up. There’s a corn maze, a pumpkin patch, playgrounds and petting zoos, trains, a gold-mining station, and there’s even bonkers stuff like a ropes course and a zipline. The boys’ favorite is always the pumpkin launchers. I mean, shooting tiny pumpkins out of cannons and trying to hit a target to win a prize? Come on. That’s the best.
There’s also a country store with homemade everything and it’s all delicious. We demolished a piece of pumpkin pie (the best I’ve had), a brownie, and some fudge. I’m pretty sure my niece will be awake for two weeks straight from all the sugar. If you’re in the Central Valley, have you ever been? Or is there a similar pumpkin farm where you are? Where do you go to celebrate pumpkin season?
What a fun trip! I love country stores. The food there is some of the best ever! Love the pictures! 🙂

Isn’t it? I don’t know what it is about places like that — maybe it’s all that home cookin’. 😉
Pumpkins and children (young and old) in the fall. What could be better!
LOVE these pictures. I wish I lived closer to go too…I am obsessed with pumpkin patches and this one sounds like the ultimate one haha.
It’s pretty awesome! Makes me feel like I’m in elementary school again. 🙂
