You guys, I have to apologize if you’re getting tired of seeing photos of my niece. It’s just that she’s one of my favorite subjects because she’s so fun and unpredictable! Like that first photo of her on the bench below. I mean, she marched right up to that bench and posed for me. Crazy! We have this thing now that we call “photo game,” when she wants me to take her picture. “Auntie C, let’s play photo game.” How can you say no to that? xoxo

Did you guys know that I’m Portuguese? There are these big events calledĀ festas where Portuguese people come together and celebrate, and my dad recently took me and Mr. Lovely to one (that’s where we drove those old cars). It was so fun to see everybody dressed up and all of the festivities. Here are a few sights from the day. xoxo

Hey hey hey! A Photo a Day is now called The Photo Files — I’ll be sharing bits and pieces of photos I take that don’t really have another place on the blog. The daily thing is something I’m glad I accomplished but probably won’t tackle again; this will be often enough, though! It’ll still be its own feed, so make sure you click on the link up in the top navigation bar. For starters, a pretty little photo of some light bulbs while we were working on a project at home. xoxo

I can’t believe it’s been a year since I started this project, but it’s true! And I finished! I’m so bummed that the first half of the year is lost in internet land somewhere, but we’re still finishing with a bang. Going forward, I’m planning on keeping a photo project going in some form — maybe not every day, but I’ll figure something out. In any case, check out the last ten photos. Thanks for following along! xoxo
