Fontalicious - Josefin Sans and Learning Curve

I just love that quote from Debussy. It makes me wonder what he was talking about — it kind of sounds like one of his piano compositions. (Did I ever tell you guys I play the piano? Debussy’s one of my faves.) In any case, some fonts that were more on the delicate side seemed just right, so we have Josefin Sans and Learning Curve. Learning Curve was on one of my very first blog designs and I still love it. It reminds me of learning cursive in elementary school. Hope you guys love these! xoxo

Today’s fonts are kind of futuristic-meets-old school. Meet Kilogram and Impact Label Reversed! I love Kilogram because it’s so pointy and super heavy; I think I love Impact for all of the opposite reasons. Small, irregular, and kind of kooky. I also have a thing for those old label makers, so Impact is right up my alley. Whaddayathink? Would you use these? How? xoxo

You guys know me — any chance to go on an adventure (big or small), and I’m in! Today’s fonts feel a little adventurous to me. We’ve got NeoRetro Fill and Channel Tuning, two of my faves! Channel Tuning always makes me think of Indiana Jones for some reason, and NeoRetro is just as cool. Check ‘em out! And then tell me: what was your last great adventure? xoxo

Wheeee! A new column! A few fine folks have been asking about some of my favorite fonts, so I thought we’d start a little feature for it. So every week we’ll feature one of my favorite fonts here on Fontalicious. How do ya like them apples?

Up first, a funky little sans font called Blanch. I love its height and the rounded corners, and the shape of the “m” is my fave. So I tossed it onto a quote about summertime, and BAM. Meet Blanch. xoxo
